Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: £40k - £55k + Excellent Benefits

Our client, a leading principal contractor, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team.

You will oversee the accounting and finance team, preparing budgets and reports for Senior Managers and Directors.

Duties:

? Manage, motivate, and appraise a team of Accounts and Finance staff
? Review cash flow position for facility compliance
? Prepare draft Board Management Information Reports
? Oversee annual audit preparation
? Create and review budgets and forecasts
? Review CIS and Purchase Ledger payment runs
? Ensure timely HMRC reporting
? Advise on systems and process improvements
? Recognise training requirements and set targets


Requirements:

? Minimum of 5 years experience in a Finance Manager position.
? Previous experience in bank reconciliation.
? Demonstrated experience in team management (essential)
? Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
? Possession of a full UK driving license, as travel may be required.


Desirable:

? Proficiency in using Sage systems, preferably Sage 200.
? ACCA / CIMA certifications
? Desirable experience in the construction industry
