Apprentice Calibration Technician

Perform calibration of a wide range of test instruments, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, resistance boxes, multifunction testers, and current injection sets. Conduct fault-finding and basic repair work on the same types of equipment. Operate within a computerised calibration management system – computer literacy is essential. Use electronic test equipment and soldering tools with precision and care.

Training:
Level 2 Engineering Operative (Maintenance) apprenticeship standard. Functional Skills in maths and English if required. Development of knowledge, skills and behaviours required to complete the business administrator apprenticeship standard.

Training Outcome:

We are more than happy to sponsor to an HNC or similar.

Alpha Electronics Group are a UK wide multi-location Test Equipment Solutions Provider, with Manufacturer Approved Service Centres and Calibration Laboratories in the North, South and West of the UK.

Working Hours :
8.30am - 4.30pm, Monday - Thursday. 8.30am - 4.00pm, Friday. 37 hours weekly (Half hour lunch break).
