Gas Engineering Apprentice

Duties will include:

• Understanding of hot, cold and central heating installations
• Designing heating systems using applied maths skills
• Keeping the site tidy and debris-free
• Cleaning and maintaining tools and properties
• Install and maintain plumbing and heating systems
• Fitting of heating components such as radiators and pipework
• Undertaking fault and leak detection, and rectification
• Deliver reliable customer service
• Health, safety and welfare in the workplace

Training:

This programme is delivered via a day release delivery model which means that one day per week, your attendance is required at our Construction Campus (NG17). This attendance is required during term time only.

You will work with expert assessors and tutors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

You will experience a blended learning model.

Training Outcome:

Full-time employment upon completing the apprenticeship successfully.
