IT Apprenticeship

Provide professional first-line technical support to end-users, both in person and remotely, addressing hardware and software issues. All support interactions and resolutions will be meticulously documented within the FreshService management system Assist ICT Technicians in the execution of various maintenance procedures, including hardware repairs, software upgrades, and the implementation of scripts, as directed by senior team members Demonstrate a commitment to professional development by actively engaging with the assigned Skills Coach and completing all apprenticeship learning and development tasks in a timely manner to ensure the successful attainment of the qualification. Participate in the installation and configuration of new hardware and software deployments, ensuring adherence to established protocols and monitoring usage as required Provide occasional on-site technical assistance and training to staff members across the Trust, including in-classroom support where necessary Contribute to the general administration of Trust and school systems, including email account management, data backup procedures, and the implementation of relevant security protocols. Assist in the maintenance of accurate records, including work logs, equipment inventories, and participation in stock-taking exercises

Training:
The technical training component of our Level 3 IT Support apprenticeship is split into six practice-led courses. Each practice-led course is then split into two parts.

Training Outcome:

Possible full-time position and progression to Level 4.

Working Monday-Friday, 8AM – 4:30PM. Early finish Fridays 4PM.
