CNC Machining Apprenticeship - Durham
Responsibilities:
· Learn how to select the cutting tools for machining operations
· Mounting and dismounting workpieces on/off machines
· Performing rough and finishing operations
· Checking finished pieces to ensure compliance with technical drawings
· Carrying out maintenance of machine tools
· Cleaning machines and work area, e.g. removing swarf / chips
· De-burring finished goods
· Packing and stock checking parts
· Learn how to program, set and operate precision CNC machines
Training:
Candidates will be employed by WG Jones and spend time working on site and will also conduct some training at South West Durham Training.
College day(s) release will be determined by successful candidates previous knowledge and experience.
Training Outcome:
Potential opportunity of a full-time position within the company upon successful completion of Apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
7:45am - 4:30pm (Mon - Thurs) 7:45am - 12:45pm (Fri) Lunch Break (Half Hour)
