Apprentice Dental Nurse

You will be trained to support the dentist/clinician in day-to-day patient care at Neston Dental Care and will be following all cross-infection control procedures.

ou will also be required to show the patience the uttermost respect and care and will be working as part of a team. 
 
You will be assisting the dentist and hygienist to carry out the following duties including: 

Various treatments including fillings, crowns, dentures, extractions Cleaning of instruments Looking after patients and their information whilst being mindful of data protection, confidentiality and health & safety Reception duties when required Being part of a team who ensures the safety and comfort of others

Training:
In-house training plus the candidate will follow a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a Level 3 in Dental Nursing This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 2 Functional Skill in the relevant subject

Training Outcome:
Registration on the General Dental Council DCP register

Working Hours :
Core working hours: 09:00 -17:00. Possibility of an earlier morning (8:30) one day per week. You will also be required to work until 18:00 on a Thursday to allow for a 16:00 finish on a Friday. To be agreed and confirmed during the interview.
