Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant

Dispensing of medication to patients Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety Responsibility Rotation of stock Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data Entry relating to medication Labelling and Dispensing Accuracy and Attention to detail Working within a team environment Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals Completion of apprenticeship work on time

Training:
Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] (optional) End-Point Assessment (EPA) In-house training All training is delivered through remote delivery into the workplace

Training Outcome:
Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship A permanent position within the organisation

Kiveton Pharmacy is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and operates under UK registered pharmacists. We offer comprehensive dispensing services to NHS and private patients. We also provide dispensing and medication management services to care homes.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday between 9.00am and 5.30pm
