Dispensing of medication to patients Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety Responsibility Rotation of stock Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Working within a team environment Liaison with doctors' surgery and health professionals Completion of apprenticeship work on time

Training:

Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard Own in-house training GPHC approved qualification

Training Outcome:
Full-time permanent role for the right person Further potential for other training such as Level 3 Pharmacy Assistant
