Apprentice Vehicle Technician (Hadwins Volkswagen)
Undertaking repair and maintenance of vehicle parts (eg.g clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes)
Following checklists to ensure all critical parts of vehicles are
examined
Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults
Maintenance of electronic systems including on board entertainment
systems
Technical High Voltage training to carry out basic maintenance and repair on certian high-voltage vehicles
Completion of legible and accurate paperwork for customer and
centre records
Maintenance of a clean and tidy work environment
Training:
Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (light vehicle)
Level 3
3 year apprenticeship programme delivered over a number of block
weeks at the Volkswagen Group state-of-the-art training centre in
Milton Keynes
Travel and accommodation provided
Training Outcome:
Following the successful completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship,
opportunites to progress further will be made available, including
higher levels of training, up to Master Technician, as well as a variety of specialisms.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 8.30am - 5.00pm. Friday, 8.30am - 4.00pm, 30 minute lunch break. Plus: Saturday morning on a rota.
