Building Services Apprenticeship

Understand the interaction between Services and other associated disciplines Assist with the compilation of tender information, documentation and pricing Help prepare and present our proposals to the client's team Learn how to manage the stage-by-stage signoff of information, drawings and design Attend and contribute at weekly site meetings Understand the co-ordination of all building services activities from both a spacial awareness perspective and logistical/programming approach Become technically and financially aware Keeping an eye on financial opportunities from a cost and value viewpoint Assist with the monitoring and control of subcontractor's accounts Assist with the production of cost advice to the Commercial team for insertion to financial control documents Become familiar with RAMS for H&S and technical appraisal purposes Begin to undersand the snagging process Assist with compilation of O&M information Attend client meetings and interact with the client's representative Learn about fast track fit outs Be enthusiastic energetic and committed when delivering a quality product

Training:
Building Services Engineering Senior Technician Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard The apprentice will work four days per week, with the fifth day spent studying at London Southbank University

Training Outcome:
Following successful completion of this apprenticeship, an offer of employment will be made for the role of Technical Services Manager

Employer Description:
Parkeray Limited is a Main Contractor in the Commercial fitout market. Our projects are based in London, the Home Counties and Cambridge. We have over 40 live sites at any one time and the successful candidate will be required to be based on site or moving around site dependent on the operational requirements.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 5.30pm.
