Welding and Fabricator apprentice

The entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in metal fabrication and welding. As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance or experienced welders and fabricators to learn the fundamental skills and techniques required in the trade. 

Key responsibilities:

Assist in the setup and operation of welding and fabrication equipment Learn and apply various welding techniques (MIG, TIG) under supervision Measure, cut and shape metal materials using hand tools, power tools and machines Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all health and safety guidelines Support experienced fabricators and welders on projects as needed Participate in formal and on the job training to develop trade skills 

Training:
The successful candidate will be enrolled on the Level 3 Metal Fabricator apprenticeship 

Training Outcome:

Potential for full-time employment on successful completion of the apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday 08:00 to 14:00 With a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
