Early Years Level 3 Apprenticeship - Little People Nurseries (Bramley)
As a level 3 apprentice you will be a key member of the nursery team, your daily activities may include:
Planning and implementing fun and educational activities with the children Play alongside and with children to support their play Supporting children’s creative and imaginative experiences Maintaining development records on key children Supervising children at rest times and at mealtimes Contributing to and promoting health and safety Ensuring the play area is clean and tidy at all times Working closely with parents and providing feedback on their childUseful Qualities to have
Friendly and approachable Patient, and caring The ability to interact positively with children and adults Flexible and willing to carry out a number of different activities within the job role Reliable Trustworthy Motivated The ability to work using your own initiativeThis position would suit a candidate with a bubbly, outgoing personality who is able to work on their own initiative and is prepared to commit to the work required for an apprenticeship.
Total of 40 hours a week falling between 7.30am and 6.00pm, Monday - Friday. May involve some occasional weekend work. 16-18 years old will not be required to work over 8 hours per day.

Training:
As a work-based training provider, we will provide an exciting individually designed training programme covering:
Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) Paediatric First Aid End-Point Assessment (EPA) On and off the job trainingWe will aim to meet your needs and those of your employer, combining theory with hands-on practical experience to ensure you develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours that are relevant to your role.
Training Outcome:
Once the successful candidate has completed their childcare qualifications, there will be the opportunity for internal progression within the nursery.

Superbly transformed from the old Villager Public House the building combines a homely atmosphere with a feeling of space and light. The large and colourful playrooms have a modern feel with the children being cared for in peer groups with easy access to the outside play area. Set in its own grounds the nursery is all on one level for the childcare facilities, with each age range having direct access to the outdoor area, which has been developed to promote an excellent outdoor learning environment. The nursery offers full day care from birth to 5 years, and serves surrounding areas of Pudsey, Rodley, Stanningley, Armley, Kirkstall, Wortley, Farnley, New Farnley and is a few minutes from Leeds City Centre.
Working Hours :
Up to 40 hours a week, Monday - Friday. May involve some occasional weekend work. Leaners that are under 18 years of age will work no longer than 8 hours per day. Working hours TBC.
