Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant

Dispensing of medication to patients Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety Responsibility Rotation of stock Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data Entry relating to medication Labelling and Dispensing Accuracy and Attention to detail Working within a team environment Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals Completion of apprenticeship work on time

Training:

Level 2 Pharmacy services assistant, including Functional Skills if required

Training Outcome:
Possible progression onto the Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship A possible permanent position within the organisation may be offered to the right candidate
