Samples Technician Apprentice

Work closely with the flavours creation team to support internal and external customers Compounding Flavours for Customers and internal personnel

Locate and collect samples off-shelf for customers

Liaise with QC & Applications for testing of flavours

Use of laboratory equipment Update and maintain lab samples index Use of internal systems for general data and labelling requirements Packaging of samples to send to customers via the correct delivery service Ensure lab is clean and well organised

Training:

Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship Standard qualification, including:

Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours End-Point Assessment

Training Outcome:
Possibility of a full-time position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship

Currently located in Neston, JPL develop flavours for the food & beverage industry covering a variety of sectors including Sports nutrition, Bakery, Beverages (Alcoholic & Non Alcoholic), Confectionery, Dairy, Savoury & Personal Care. JPL are currently in the process of building a £6m state of the art premises in Bromborough located on Bassendale road which includes state of the art laboratories and a virtual reality suite for customer experiences.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday,9.00am to 5.00pm, or 8:30am to 4:30pm.
