Early Years Practitioner Apprentice
Welcoming children into the nursery and settling them into their room
Assisting with care routines such as feeding, changing, toileting, cleaning etc
Engaging with the children through purposeful play in order to help them meet developmental milestones
Helping team members with nursery duties such as laundry, tidying up, organising room, cleaning surfaces etc
Giving parents a verbal or written handover at the end of the child's day
Training:
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner
Training will take place on site at the nursery
6 hours given for training per week - to be organised according to nursery shift rota and schedules

A family run children's day nursery that has been established for 30 years. We are committed to providing the best quality care and education for children aged 0-5. We have a team of 11 staff and a management team consisting of one deputy, one manager and two directors. The nursery cares for 31 children every day, across four rooms.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, shifts, no weekend or evening work (excluding first aid training if applicable).
