Plumbing Apprentice

Duties include:

Assist qualified plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems Measure, cut, and assemble pipes and fittings using hand and power tools Help install domestic and commercial water systems, such as sinks, toilets, showers, radiators, and boilers Carry out basic fault-finding and help with diagnostics Prepare and clean work areas, tools, and equipment Follow health and safety procedures at all times on-site Load, unload, and transport tools and materials as needed Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and plumbing plans Keep accurate records of work completed under supervision Attend training sessions and complete coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme

Training:
Hull College will deliver the Apprenticeship Standard Plumbing Level 3 You will be trained in the workplace by a highly skilled mentor alongside your Hull College Skills Coach who will help support and guide you to become a skilled employee

Training Outcome:
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity of full-time employment upon completion of the advanced apprenticeship if available.
