Commis Chef Apprenticeship at Bush Hotel

As a Commis Chef, you will support the kitchen team in the smooth and efficient running of daily operations. You’ll be involved in preparing high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients, while learning traditional and modern cooking techniques under the guidance of our experienced chefs.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for food and a strong desire to learn. Ideally, you’ll have some kitchen experience, but we’re happy to provide training for the right person. A positive attitude, creativity, and willingness to contribute ideas are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of fresh, high-quality dishes combining contemporary flavours with traditional methods Ensure consistent presentation and food quality, in line with food safety standards Support the kitchen team in maintaining food cost targets and achieving budgeted gross profit Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment at all times Comply with health and safety, food safety, and COSHH regulations

Training:

The successful candidate will obtain a Level 2 Commis Chef Apprenticeship standard qualification.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 6 AM - 9 PM (Start and finish times listed are the possibilities. Shift patterns will be provided in advance).
