Art & Logistics Technician (Artwork & Furniture/ Fine Art)

Location: London

Salary: Up to £30k (DOE) + Overtime & Package

Our client, a well-established company serving a global clientele of private clients, collectors, interior designers, galleries, and institutions.

They are currently seeking a meticulous and skilled Logistics Technician to join their team in London.

Your primary responsibility will be to support a busy manufacturing and dispatch schedule.

The Role:

You will be responsible for the careful packing, handling, and transportation of high-value and delicate artwork and furniture.

The role requires practical skills in building protective support structures like export crating and assisting with installations in residential homes and showrooms.

Duties:

? Carefully pack, label, and perform condition reporting of client orders for UK or export.
? Build export-quality wooden crates for the safe transportation of delicate and heavy items.
? Deliver and install furniture, lighting, and fine art objects on-site.
? Support the design and manufacturing team with logistics and photography.
? Monitor stock and essential consumables required for the role.


Requirements:

? Previous experience in packaging and transporting fine art, furniture, or custom lighting is essential.


? Experienced in packaging, logistics, and installation of delicate lighting, furniture, and/or fine art for export shipping.
? Possess corss trade skills such as carpentry and decoration
? Full clean driving license.


Desirable:

? Foundation degree, higher national diploma, BA, BTEC certificate, or similar qualification.
