Job Type: Part-Time, 25 per week (over 4/5 days)
Our client, an International Transport Haulage business, is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team.
You will be responsible for controlling all aspects of bookkeeping.
? Extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
? Strong working knowledge of Excel and formulas.
? Familiarity with the Transport/Haulage industry is preferred but not essential.
? Perform daily invoicing tasks.
? Process Point of Deliveries (PODs) and ensure they are accurately matched to invoices.
? Conduct credit control activities on a twice-weekly basis.
? Handle credit application forms and conduct credit checks for new customers.
? Process payroll, both weekly for drivers and monthly for office staff.
? Prepare month-end accounts.
? Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
? Manage monthly creditor payments.
? Complete quarterly VAT returns.
? Handle petty cash management.
