L4 Sports Coach Apprenticeship

Duties will include:

Co-ordinating extra-curricular sports classes Supporting holiday camps Helping with lunch provision

Key Responsibilities:

Nurseries and Early Years settings Primary school PE lessons Lunchtime and after school clubs Holiday activity camps Weekend football development sessions Assist lead coaches with setting up equipment and managing session flow Learn to plan, lead, and review coaching sessions under supervision Build positive relationships with children, school staff, and parents Promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles Commit to completing required apprenticeship training, coursework, and assessments Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies at all times

Training:
The apprentice will gain a Level 4 qualification in a Sports coach role they will have full training from the employer and also 20% off the job training with support from SCL professional

Training Outcome:
The apprentice can expect to progress with the company once they have completed their Level 4 Sports Coach Qualification , they can move on to PE teacher/ Teaching assistant
