Apprentice Nursery Assistant
Provide and support stimulating activities to enhance
children’s development
Interact positively with children, parents, visitors and other
staff members
Make a positive contribution towards new ideas for
activities and displays
Carry out domestic duties to ensure the smooth running of
the setting
Meeting and greeting of children and parents
Assisting children at mealtimes and preparing a hygienic
environment
Help to provide children with stimulating activities that
relate to their interests, and which promote development
linking to the Early Years Foundation Stage
Ensure children are supported within a safe and caring
environment, under close staff supervision
Training:
Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard:
Apprentices will be allocated a Trainer Assessor and training will be planned and delivered in conjunction with the employer to meet the individual needs of the apprentice The apprentice will spend 20% of their working hours in off the job activities and training On the job and off the job training will be delivered in theworkplace
Training Outcome:
Progression onto the Early Years Educator Level 3 apprenticeship
and continue working at the setting

We provide part time, full time, before and after school services and a holiday club and although we have set sessions, we are always willing to consider any other requirements you may have. We understand not every family has the same needs for a setting and hopefully, we can become your extended family offering support and guidance where required
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday between the hours of 07.30 and 18.00 (Shift / Rota Basis)
