Fabricating and welding apprentice

We require people to bend, weld and fabricate these pipes to very high standards. We only use TiG welding.

Training:

Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship Standard https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/st0420-v1-2 Details of pathway to be discussed at interview. Functional Skills in English and maths up to Level 2 as required.

Training Outcome:

When this level 2 course has been completed, our apprentices have the opportunity to continue on to levels 3 and 4, with a total of 4 years of training. Progression to full-time employment.

Employer Description:
We are part of a very large organisation, Leggett and Platt who operate world wide in the Aerospace. Bedding and Automotive sectors.

Working Hours :
3 Days a week at work, 1 day at college ( 4 day 38 hour week).
