Calibration Apprentice

To carry out calibration, repair, Inspection and testing of components and instruments across the entire field of services provided by each laboratory To attend external and internal training courses as agreed at each review and also at such time as considered necessary and/or relevant To attend a number of academic examinations, reviews and assessments as considered necessary and relevant To promote the company at all times and maintain an awareness amongst colleagues of the requirements for a professional attitude towards their work

Training:
An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence  You will be expected to work towards the Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician Level 3, with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group

Training Outcome:
Full time position with company and continued training

The home to our ever-growing team and accredited laboratories are located in the home of Great British Railway in Derby, East Midlands. The rail sector feels like home to us since this is where our roots began, but in 37+ years of service, we have developed expertise and proficiency in various other industries including: aerospace, engineering and food & beverage.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 6.00am - 2.00pm (half an hour flex either side)
