Apprentice Electrical Technician

As an Electrical apprentice you will be required to follow instruction and learn from the senior team members.

You will be expected to work as part of a team and listen to your mentors.

We expect the candidate to have a positive approach to work, a willingness to learn and good time keeping.

What you will do at work as an apprentice:

Hard skills Tray work Cable installation(pulling, tying, marking off etc.) Fault finding on a range of machinery Panel building Learn how to read and understand technical drawings Design and create technical drawings Programming Maintenance

Training:
Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Training will take place weekly (term time) at a Truro-Penwith College campus

Training Outcome:
On completion of a successful apprenticeship, there may be an opportunity for a full-time position

Tiflex is a manufacturing company that specializes in engineered rubber and cork products. We do a large range of products including flooring for the London buses and other products for the Ministry of Defence.

Working Hours :
Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:30, Friday, 08:00 - 13:00. Shift Work after 1st year.
