Apprentice Hairdresser

Daily tasks will include:

Welcoming clients and offering them refreshments Shampooing, conditioning and offering head massage Preparing client for stylist Keeping the salon clean and tidy between clients Answering the phone and taking bookings via online system Observing stylists and assisting where required

Training:

Training will take place in the Stone Hair Salon at 861 Wimborne Road, Moordown, Bournemouth BH9 2BG.

The specific day in the Training Academy is weekly on a Tuesday. However, you will be working alongside and observing the Company Director, Salon  Director and stylists on a daily basis.

Training Outcome:

To be employed as a Graduate Stylist within the Stone Hair salon.

Bespoke colour and tailored cuts are achieved by a highly trained and qualified team who will use their vast experience to ensure that clients leave our salon with the style they really want and love. Stone have built up their own training academy for apprentices which is run by Stone’s company director Wendy Long. The apprenticeship Stone offers to all apprentices is a 2 year NVQ/City & Guilds level 2 qualification followed by the level 3 qualification. We take on Apprentices aged between 16-18yrs.

38.5 hours a week Tuesday 9:00am-6:00pm Wednesday 9:00am-8:00pm Thursday 9:00am-4:00pm Friday 9:00am-6:00pm Saturday 8:30am-5:00pm
