Property Maintenance Apprenticeship

As a Property Maintenance Apprentice, you will work alongside our Site Manager and the wider team. 

Main Duties and Activities:

Assist in the day-to-day maintenance and repairs of the school buildings and grounds Learn basic tasks in plumbing, carpentry, decorating, and groundskeeping Help maintain clean, safe, and secure school facilities Carry out checks and routine maintenance under the guidance of the site team Assist with setting up for school events, moving furniture, and ensuring rooms are prepared as needed Respond to minor faults and issues raised by staff Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding, health & safety, and security procedures Attend training sessions and complete all coursework and assessments for the apprenticeship

Training:

Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative standard.

This will be a blended delivery, a mixture of Microsoft Teams and face to face. All training will take place on site and within your working hours.



Training Outcome:

This role leads naturally into other roles such as Site/Facilities Manager.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00. Some overtime or shift work could be optional.
