Property Manager Oxford, UK Temporary Full Time 35 hoursWe are seeking a highly organized and motivated Property Manager to join our team based in Oxford.
This is an office-based role however the Property Manager will also carry out landlord obligations, and deliver high quality management support to Key Worker residents, both within multi-occupancy and self-contained dwellings.
The ideal candidate will build relationships with the residents and act as an ambassador for the company.
This role is a temporary ongoing contract with an initial period of 2 months.
Please note a full enhanced DBS certificate is required for this role, as well as a full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle.
GCSE or equivalent in Math’s and English at Grace C or above
Housing qualification is desirable
Previous experience in in a front facing role within Property/ Housing Management is essential
Experience working within a busy office environment
Familiarity with current housing law and relevant legislation is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
Professional demeanour and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent administrative skills and knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and ability to write reports using these tools
Knowledge of building safety issues
Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle
Full enhanced DBS required
Deliver high standards of customer service to residents, by conducting residential property management duties, including managing customer disputes and anti-social behaviour
Work as part of a team of Property Managers to ensure residents needs are met, please note there are no line manager duties required of this role
Maximise rental income by monitoring rent accounts and carrying out a full arrears management process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of property-related information, including tenancy agreements, maintenance requests, tenancy renewals, and correspondence
Serve as a point of contact for customers, investigating complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
Conduct regular estate and property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure action is taken for any issues identified
Liaise with contractors and maintenance personnel to ensure that all properties meet a high standard
Build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external Stakeholders to better support residents.
Represent the Group in meetings, hearings and more
Represent the Group in Court if necessary and attend evictions where needed
Keep up to date with current legislation and regulations related to property management
