Our client, a leading global medical device company is seeking a Mobility Specialist (Wheelchairs) to join their team.
They are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for individuals with reduced mobility, supporting their journey towards improved health and well-being.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the preparation, installation, and maintenance of specialist wheelchairs.
Primarily, you will be supporting a prestigious private hospital in London from our clients recently opened facility.
Responsibilities:
? Deliver and maintain wheelchairs in excellent condition.
? Provide technical information, advice, and assistance regarding wheelchairs.
? Adhere to manufacturers guidelines for equipment maintenance.
? Accurately record and communicate all task-related information.
? Prioritise safety and exhibit a proactive approach to Health & Safety and environmental matters.
? Cultivate strong professional relationships with customers and carers, offering solutions-oriented support.
? Adapt and adopt new working methods and technologies introduced by the company, undergoing training as required.
Requirements:
? Previous experience in a medical device environment is advantageous.
? Experience in a mechanical or electrical environment is preferred.
? Awareness of health and safety practices in a technical setting, including manual handling requirements.
? Proficiency in IT skills, including Outlook, PDA/Smartphone, and ERP systems (SAGE 200).
? Knowledge of UDI/Barcoding and other traceability systems.
? Possession of a valid driving license (maximum 6 points).
