Lead Theatre Nurse- Recovery Role: Lead Theatre Nurse –Recovery Location: Nottingham Salary: Up to £43,000 plus benefits and enhancements Hours: 37.5 per week (various shifts)MediTalent are recruiting on behalf of a state of the art, private hospital in Nottingham for a Lead Theatre Nurse to join their team of staff in the Recovery department.You will join a dedicated, well-established team and manage recovery procedures.
Your role will be to coordinate and deliver high quality patient care ensuring a safe and effective post operative service, you will be working with patients undergoing a range of surgical procedures, you will lead and manage a team, coordinating staff training needs and resource requirements within a surgical specialty.
You will assemble, check and prepare the appropriate surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures.The ideal candidate will be an NMC registered adult nurse RGN or HCPC Registered operating department practitioner/ODP.
Substantial leadership experience within a clinical environment and hold the first surgical assistance certificate along with having good clinical knowledge and understanding, ILS, additional skills in Theatres and recovery.
