Offering an excellent remuneration package plus a company van, a friendly working environment with a great team to work with, and a variety of company benefits, we have an exciting opportunity for a number of Estimators / Trainee Estimators to join our team.Portico GB LTD is a leading subcontractor to the new build industry based in Woolpit near Bury St Edmunds who supply and install windows, doors, conservatories and sliding wardrobes. Responsibilities – Estimator / Trainee Estimator:
Accurately take measurements and specifications from building plans and tender documents, to form quotation documents.Prepare quotations for our customers working with Quantity Surveyors and Technical department to ensure the proposed products are fit for purpose and quotation commercial competitive.Attend pre-order and pre-start meetings to set out guidelines of working for secured projects.Manage ongoing projects, keeping up to date with drawing revisions and changes through the length of the project.
This is a very busy and expanding Division of our Company, the team currently consists of 5 friendly people. We are looking for an ambitious person who wants to succeed and develop a career.  Requirements – Estimator/Trainee Estimator:
Attention to detail.Good verbal and written communication skills.Accuracy when dealing with figures.Good organisational skills.You must like working as part of a team but to be able to use your own initiative when required.Enthusiasm is a must.
Desired Qualifications:
5 GCSEs, or equivalents, preferred, but not essential.  Passes to include English and maths, Grade C/4 or above.
