Assistant Team Leader (Engineering / Technical)

Location: Wokingham, Berkshire

Salary: £32k - £34k DOE + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a well-established aerospace parts and components manufacturer that offers a range of additional services such as repair and haulage.

They are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Assistant Team Leader to join their team.

You will act as a capable and reliable deputy for the Team Leader, assuming their full responsibilities during their absence.

Duties:

? Efficiently lead a team of technicians, inspiring and motivating them to achieve the department and organisations key performance indicators (KPIs).
? Identify training needs for junior staff and provide necessary guidance and support.
? Ensure exceptional accuracy and attention to detail within the department


Requirements:

? Proven experience in a similar role with a strong technical or engineering background
? Minimum of 4 years experience within an organisation
? Previous people management or leadership experience
? Sound knowledge and understanding of health and safety practices
? Good knowledge of the industry
? Must be over 21 years of age


Qualifications / Education / Training:

? Minimum of 4 GCSEs or equivalent.
? Engineering Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or higher).
? Leadership/Management Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or higher).
? Health and Safety trained (Level 2 or higher).
? Certified Stamp Holder.
