Weighbridge Operator

Our client is a London based company who predominantly specialise in the removal, transfer and recycling of construction waste materials and the supply of primary and recycled aggregates.
We are in search for a Weighbridge Operator to join the team on a full time basis based out of their yard in Willesden.
Site Hours: Monday - Friday 06:30am - 17:00pm
Competitive salary on offer for the right person.
Role & Responsibilities:

Ensuring all vehicles entering the yard are familiar with the site rules and speed restrictions.
Manage any visitors, ensuring they adhere to site rules.

Front of house, the first experience of the business
All loads monitored in and out – ensuring no vehicle goes out of the yard overweight
Book in loads onto the system and manage that area of the business
Weighbridge tickets and associated paperwork ensuring it is correct.
Any loaded vehicles entering the site are challenged and directed to the correct tipping area or rejected.
Ensuring vehicles are weighed and weights logged and recorded where required.
Run daily reports for separate areas of the business
Take payments for collections as required and send all payments to the accounts department.
Manage the daily/weekly stock take and maintaining the relevant spreadsheets.
Update the Transport Office by producing a daily spreadsheet of all loads entering and exiting the site.
Manage PPE supply to visitors.
Liaise with office on ordering stock
Manage customer and sub-contractor enquiries as necessary.
Keep the office area clean and clear
Assist with incoming sales calls.
Build relationships with new and existing clients.

Skills and Requirements:

Full, the UK driving licence (desirable)
Good IT skills, including with Microsoft Word & Excel
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
Experience working within the Transport industry would be advantageous
Experience working with bulk aggregates would be advantageous
