IP Formalities Manager

Prominent IP arm of a leading law firm has an exceptional opening for an IP Formalities Manager based in their friendly Leeds office.
This renowned IP team of Solicitors, Trade Mark Attorneys and Paralegals who cover both contentious and non-contentious matters on behalf of a plethora of clients and industries, are keen to welcome you! As a driven IP Formalities Manager, you’ll play a pivotal part within the team to ensure the seamless running of client’s IP portfolios.

Additionally, you will manage Formalities Paralegals, who are primarily responsible for maintaining records.

A snapshot of other tasks includes recordals and renewals, allocating workload to maintain a balance within the team, liaising with clients, registries, foreign agents and overseeing and/or implementing improvements in processes to ensure a first-class client service.
In order to lead and inspire the team, it's imperative that you have a solid background within a similar IP environment and preferably hold the CIPA and/or CITMA qualifications.

Managing a high volume of varied workstreams and prioritising matters is vital, as are your interpersonal, management and project skills.
