Finance Assistant
Salary: Up to £25,000 per annum DOE
Location: Ferndown, Dorset
Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Do you have a high level of accuracy and love working with numbers? Do you enjoy being a part of a busy team and have a talent for spotting trends?
Our client is currently looking for a strong communicator with a head for numbers and excellent attention to detail to join their Accounts team.

This role involves liaising with all areas of the business to keep the team well informed and provide advice on financial business matters.

From dealing with customer queries and invoices to bank reconciliations and financial analysis projects, this is an extremely varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to receive industry-led training and qualifications including AAT.


Main Responsibilities:

Processing sales and purchase invoices
Prioritising and resolving customer and vendor enquiries
Completing daily bank reconciliations
Maintaining business process documentation
Ad-hoc financial analysis and research projects

Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to work proactively, prioritise effectively and use your own initiative
Confidence in liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally
