Apprentice Forecourt Engineer
An apprentice will be joining a team of two engineers out on the road every day. A working week could include:
Diagnosing faults on dispensing pumps Servicing mechanical electrical dispensers Pressure testing underground fuel tanks Testing Vapour recovery systems Digging out ground works, forming islands and repairing concrete Working with threaded steel pipework or UPP fusion welded pipework Installing new dispensers Attending local authority weights and measure checksTraining:
MOET - Maintenance Operations Engineer Technician level 3. Training to take place one day per week in college, with the rest of the working week spent out on site learning the job.
Training Outcome:
Qualified and experienced it is hoped the apprentice will have a vital role in the future of the business.

Working Hours :
Working week usually Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, but occasional earlier starts and later finishes when working further afield.
