Job Title: Housing Scheme Manager - East Midlands Location: East Midlands, United KingdomJob Description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Housing Scheme Manager to join our team and oversee the operations of our housing scheme for individuals facing homelessness and complex needs.

In this role, you will play a vital part in managing the housing scheme, supporting individuals with tenancy agreements, navigating benefit schemes, and facilitating their transition back to independent living.

Your expertise will contribute to the success and positive outcomes of our residents.Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the housing scheme for individuals facing homelessness and complex needs.
Provide direct support to residents, assisting with tenancy agreements, benefit schemes, and independent living skills.
Develop and implement individualized support plans, tailored to each resident's needs and goals.
Foster a supportive and inclusive community within the housing scheme, promoting resident engagement and well-being.
Coordinate with external agencies, including housing providers and local authorities, to ensure effective service provision for residents.
Supervise and support a team of support workers, providing guidance and performance management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident interactions, progress, and outcomes.
Oversee property maintenance, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for residents.
Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and promote positive resident outcomes.
Work on a rota basis, which may include weekends and occasional shift variations, to ensure comprehensive coverage.
Ensure compliance with all safeguarding policies and procedures.
An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is essential for this role.

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role, managing housing schemes or supported accommodation.
Knowledge and experience in supporting individuals facing homelessness and complex needs.
Strong understanding of tenancy agreements, benefit schemes, and housing legislation.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with residents and stakeholders.
Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach when working with individuals facing challenging situations.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Flexibility to work on a rota basis, which may include weekends and occasional shift variations.
An enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this position.
