Machine Operator

Holt Engineering is working with a leading manufacturer based in Havant. Who are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join their growing team. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining metal fabrication machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality components to exact specifications. The Machine Operator role is offering a Temporary to Permanent contract.  Paying £12.21 - £12.50 (depending on experience) Working full time Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. Key Responsibilities for the Machine Operator:  - Operate machines such as CNC lathes, pillar drills, linishers and hand tools - Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications - Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality - Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting - Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed - Follow all safety protocols and company procedures To be a successful Machine Operator: - Previous experience operating metalworking machinery (CNC, pillar drills, linishers, grinders) - Strong understanding of mechanical processes and tools - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings - Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work - Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials - Willingness to work shifts and overtime if required Feel like a perfect opportunity to progress your career to the next stage?
