The Role:

As a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the High Thermal Conductivity Materials team, your main focus will be on developing composite materials for thermal management in the electronics industry.

This involves synthesising thermally conductive polymers, functionalising inorganic fillers, and working on innovative projects in collaboration with colleagues.

The ultimate goal is to propose new projects and contribute to the companys mission of achieving minimal CO2 emissions.

Duties:

? Synthesise thermally conductive polymers and suggest structural modifications for improved performance.
? Design, synthesise, purify, and characterise functionalised inorganic fillers.
? Contribute to technology development proposals to enhance material performance.
? Generate novel concepts and technical solutions to expand the companys Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio.
? Participate in wider innovation activities, proposing new projects based on technological needs and emerging trends.
? Develop scientifically sound hypotheses to enhance device and material performance.
? Communicate effectively with team members and the wider organisation, sharing results and providing recommendations for project progression.
? Collaborate closely with the High Thermal Conductivity Materials team to develop materials meeting application specifications.
? Synthesise, purify, and characterise novel materials to meet technical performance requirements.
? Propose adaptations and improvements to materials based on performance and specifications.
