An Import Export Office Administrator position for a successful and established distribution company based in Audnam in Stourbridge, West Midlands.
We are looking for an experienced office administrator to become an integral part of a friendly team within a privately owned business.

Previous Import Export administration or Office Management experience essential.
Office based in Audnam – Commutable from Stourbridge, Kingswinford, Brierley Hill, Dudley, Halesowen, Quinton, Oldbury, Kidderminster, Wolverhampton, Bromsgrove, Kinver
Upto £28K (Neg dependent on Experience) + bonus + generous holiday entitlement (including Christmas shutdown) + pension + onsite free parking + Mon-Fri 9-5 (No weekends or evenings)
Handle customer queries efficiently and effectively – offering a professional service at all levels via telephone and email.
Working closely with the Managing Director and assisting other members of staff.
Process and create purchase orders and sales invoices.
Advise customers of expected delivery dates and update them with any delays.
Work with 3rd party freight forwarders to obtain quotes and arrange transport of goods, ensuring all necessary customs paperwork is filed with them.
Take ownership of pricing and purchasing activity, using Microsoft Excel and a CRM.
Successfully manage stock levels through analysis and the monitoring of customer buying patterns.
Ensure the CRM system is updated as required.
Complete regular stock reconciliation.
This role would suit an Import Export Administrator or an experienced Customer Account Administrator or Office Manager seeking a successful, forward-thinking company.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good telephone manner - this role will involve outbound calling speaking to customers, suppliers and freight forwarders.
Well educated or equivalent knowledge from time spent in a similar role.
A Mathematical and inquisitive mind coupled with experience of Microsoft applications – Including Excel and Outlook.
The ability to use initiative and be the ‘go to’ person for other members of the team.
Friendly and confident.
Previous experience of working with a CRM system is advantageous.
