THE OPPORTUNITY:Get Recruited is partnered with a market leading wholesaler based in Uttoxeter.
After successful year on year growth, they’re looking to hire an Purchase Ledger to join their growing finance team and work closely with the Head of Finance.
PURCHASE LEDGER DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Ensure timely invoicing is completed within the deadlines set.
Input and approval of stock invoices, matching to relevant orders and goods receipts.
Resolving any issues with the assistance of Goods In, Buying Department and the Supplier.
Execute enhanced processes to streamline invoicing.
Co-ordinate with department managers and clients
Reconcile supplier statements.
Administration of the purchase ordering system
Dealing with supplier queries
Update check, amend VAT codes to invoices for accurate figures.
Posting all outgoing payments made through the bank.
Uploading invoices and documents to customer systems, raising sales quotations on ERP systems
PURCHASE LEDGER DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Intermediate MS Excel
SAP is desirable but not essential.
Accounts Payable, Purchase Ledger, Invoice Clerk experience in a previous role
Processing a high volume of invoices monthly
FOR THIS THE PURCHASE LEDGER WILL RECEIVE A COMPETITIVE SALARY OF UP TO £27,000 BASE + BENEFITS
