MSK Physiotherapist Specialist

**To be considered for this position you must hold a degree in Physiotherapy and hold a HCPC Registration**

As the MSK Physiotherapist Specialist your key responsibilities include:

Work as an autonomous practitioner, within scope of practice and deliver a quality clinical service; meeting the clinical and strategic needs of the hospital
Provide highly specialised assessment and intervention for a varied caseload of outpatients within the speciality of MSK conditions, including patients who may have highly complex presentation
Supervise, initiate and participate in evidence based projects and lead in-service training sessions as required
Supervise, initiate and participate in audit and service reviews and evaluations as appropriate
Develop and foster productive relationships with key stakeholders e.g.

Consultants, GPs, patient groups and other links
Supervise, teach and appraise members of the physiotherapy department team as required


The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

Experienced physiotherapist with a particular interest and background in MSK physiotherapy
Experienced in working with a wide variety of patients in an MSK outpatient setting
Utilising your advanced clinical reasoning skills
Evidence based knowledge to assess and diagnose patients
Implementing appropriate physiotherapy management plans


The successful MSK Physiotherapist Specialist will receive an excellent salary up to £34,264 per annum DOE.

This is a Fixed Term Contract working 30 hours a week.
