Financial Systems Accountant

The Vacancy

Some flexibility on start & finish times, P/T considered 30 hours over 5 days or 4 full days.

In this post you will support the Head of Financial Systems with the installation of Cx, the new Housing Management system and the integration with Sun (our finance system).

You will play a key role in the development of interfaces between Sun and Cx, developing robust controls around all financial aspects of the new Cx System.

You will also develop an appropriate suite of financial reporting tools using Power BI and other functions with data from both Cx and the Sun and implement appropriate financial controls around all financial aspects Cx.

Paradigm is undergoing a period of positive change, which will mean regular involvement with process reviews, system enhancements and larger corporate projects and therefore this is a great opportunity for you to input into our future success and gain valuable career-enhancing experience.

Where could this role take you?

Whilst this is not currently a permanent role, in a business our size and with the transformation we are going through, there is a possibility that this could either be extended, made permanent or other opportunities may arise; many of our talented colleagues started at Paradigm as temporary/interim and have gone on to forge successful careers with us.

However, if something longer term doesn't materialise, you will still gain valuable experience which will add to your employability in this and similar fields.

Our ideal candidate will be/have:

? Experience of Sun accounts.
? Experience of reviewing processes, improving and implementing new working practices.
? Analytical, able to draw inferences from data and convert into meaningful information for non-finance audiences.
? Accurate with strong attention to detail.
? Experience of designing and writing interfaces.
? Experience with Power BI would be an advantage, but not essential.
