Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria

Salary:£22,000 per year + Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Full Time, 37.5 hrs, Monday - Thursday, between 8.00am and 6.00 pm.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Health Technician to join their team.

You will be delivering occupational health services to their clients.

They are looking for someone who can be an active member of the Occupational Health team and promote a positive working environment and be self-motivated and have a proactive approach to work.

The main aspect of this role will be to support and deliver on the health surveillance program for 2023.

Duties:

? Conducting health screening, including general baseline measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and urinalysis
? Carrying out drug and alcohol testing, fitness for work medicals, health surveillance screening including audiometry and lung function testing, and health promotion activities
? Ensuring all medical information is accurately recorded
? Working effectively as an active member of the Occupational Health team, promoting a positive working environment
? Prioritising workload and managing time effectively to work to strict deadlines
? Understanding the importance of patient confidentiality


Requirements:

? Experience as a Health Care Assistant,
? Experience in ambulance service, EMT, Military Medic, or similar (preferred)
? Excellent communication skills
? IT literacy
? A proactive and self-motivated attitude
