An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Nursery Practitioner to join a spacious and well-equipped family run nursery to provide a caring and nurturing environment for children during those precious early years.

You will be responsible for the childrens play, organising engaging activities, ensuring their well-being during meal times, and attending to their personal needs.

Duties:

? Assisting with the daily supervision of the nursery in accordance with company policy
? Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures within the nursery.
? Taking charge of the security and well-being of all children within your assigned room.
? You will be focused on the comprehensive care of children, encompassing their learning, play, education, and social development.
? You will observe children to understand their learning requirements, complete necessary paperwork, maintain records, provide regular feedback on their progress, and establish positive relationships with parents and children.


Requirements:

? Previous experience in a similar role
? NVQ Level 2 in Early Years or equivalent.
? Ability to work sensitively and positively with young children and their families.
? Demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility.
? Interest in child development.
? Awareness of child safety issues.
? Willingness to enhance personal skills through professional development.


Desired Qualifications:

? DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) clearance.
? Food & Hygiene Certification.
? Paediatric First Aid Certification.
? Health & Safety Certificate.
? Safeguarding training.
