Supervising Social Worker

A Not for Profit independent fostering agency is looking for a Supervising Social Worker to cover a caseload over the Essex and East London region.

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be maintaining, improving, and developing the quality and standards of childcare practice.

This position is a full time, home-based, permanent position with a salary of up to £39,000.


To be a successful candidate, you will need to have experience within fostering with knowledge or experience of practising with a Therapeutic Approach.

Ideally, within an Independent Fostering Agency or Charity.

Your responsibilities as the Supervising Social Worker:

Hold a caseload and provide supervision support to foster families
Maintain a culture of safeguarding
Prepare reports and maintain compliant case files
Participate in out of hours services

Requirements of you as the Supervising Social Worker:

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
A valid registration with social work England
Experience of working within Fostering
Experience of working within a Therapeutic Environment
Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

Location: Kent
Salary: up to £39,000 plus £5,000 car allowance
