Newton Colmore is excited to be working with a growing biotech in Cambridge who is searching for a pharmacokinetics expert.

This is an excellent opportunity where you will be able to make a real difference with your work, developing novel medicines that aim to improve the patient’s life, taking therapeutics from inception all the way through to clinical trials.

The company have developed a world-class system which allows them to rapidly develop next generation therapies, which is something they are deeply proud of, and are focusing on oncology and CNS-related diseases.

As a pharmacokinetics expert in this company your mission will be to represent DMPK across the company’s research teams, designing and implementing in vivo PK studies, providing updates and results to research teams and present strategies at governance interactions.

You will also be working closely with CROs in the UK, India, and China, to deliver routine in vitro and in vivo ADME screening/test cycles in support of supporting project design.

You will then provide detailed analysis of data and recommendations on next steps for progressing compounds.



This is a tight-knit team, and you will be working closely with medicinal chemists and other drug discovery scientists to drive assay design, and report DMPK assays and parameters across the company’s therapeutic portfolio and discovery platform.

You will have the freedom and autonomy to delivery meaningful work within a new branch of therapeutics, where you will be exploring new avenues of research.

To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have the following;

Experience within a pharma, CRO, or biotech setting with DMPK and ADME.
A strong understanding of the ADME scientific area and the ability to proactively propose new development in tools or study designs.
An understanding of bioanalytical methodology and metabolism/pharmacokinetic data analysis
Your experience to be coupled with strong academics, ideally to PhD level in chemistry, biology, or pharmacology.
