We are currently partnering with a globally renowned manufacturing business on their business growth, and part of that is the requirement for more skilled staff including this vacancy for a Lead Electronics Engineer.
The group this business are a part of service some of the globes largest and most critical industries, and the company itself has existed for well over a century.
The Lead Electronics Engineer will be reporting directly to the Engineering Manager and will support the product development strategy of the company's growth and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities as Lead Electronics Engineer:
- Produce accurate and innovative designs, PCB layouts and electronics schematics
- Be the technical go-to for customers through the life cycle of their projects
- Understand, interpret and apply relevant industry standards to designs for company clients
- Produce interactive simulations for your product designs
- Be pivotal in new product design and R&D concept design work
- Provide technical support and training for sales engineers and customers
Experience as Lead Electronics Engineer:
- Qualified to degree level within Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience of successful delivery within a similar position
- Strong knowledge of PCB layout and electronics schematic design
- In depth understanding of electronic manufacturing methods
- Sound understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Proficient in electronic engineering software, CAD and GERBER file generation
- Driven and motivated individual with a proactive approach
