As a Hardware Design Engineer you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and collaborate with a team of highly skilled professionals.

Your Role:

As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the detailed design of electrical control systems.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting electrical site surveys and creating single line diagrams for power, control, networking, and communications.
Developing electrical schematics, cable schedules, and control/drive panel general arrangements.
Generating manufacturing and installation documentation, including as-built, as-tested, as-installed, and as-commissioned documentation.
Maintaining the Technical Construction File relevant to detailed electrical design.
Performing calculations to support equipment/component sizing and selection.
Collaborating with internal teams to select and procure equipment/components aligned with client specifications.
Providing support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities.
Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, client specifications, and internal standards.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and meeting project milestones.

Requirements:

A minimum of HND/Foundation Degree/Level 5 Apprenticeship in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar role, demonstrating a solid understanding of electrical control systems.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, enabling effective collaboration with team members.
Confident, proactive, and well-organized approach to work, with strong problem-solving abilities.
Hands-on attitude and enthusiasm, ensuring reliability as a key contributor to the team's success.
