GP Clinical Lead

Our client is one of UK's Leading healthcare providers and they are currently seeking for a committed GP Clinical Lead.

You will be working in a highly reputed surgery within the Witham, Essex area

This special surgery is committed to providing patients with a full general practice service and access to a range of health professionals.

They offer a range of health services and information as well as advice and treatment for a range of illnesses and minor injuries

**You will be GMC registered and on the performers list with a clinical background in Primary Care**

As the GP Clinical Lead your key responsibilities include:

Maintains the highest clinical standards at all times and practices in accordance with accepted good medical practice and service standards
Promotes the health and well-being of all medical and clinical staff within the practice by promoting efficient working methods and behaviours
Keeps up to date with advances in medicine and practices in line with national and local guidance and support other medical and clinical staff to do the same
Promotes the application of standards, protocols and codes of practice as set by Royal College of General Practitioners, General Medical Council, all other Royal Colleges and Councils applicable to the staff within the practice, Department of Health, Commissioning Bodies and all other regulatory and standard setting organizations
Provide clinical advice and guidance to all practitioners caring for patients of the Practice
Demonstrates innovation in the development of practice strategy and policy
Ensure adequate and appropriate supervision and mentoring for salaried GPs working in the service


The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

Experience of Microsoft Office applications
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A ‘solutions focused’ approach
Ability to listen and empathize
Potential to cope with stressful situations
Experience of GP Clinical systems
Previous management or supervisory role
Evidence of interest in additional clinical skills
Able to perform minor surgery


The successful GP Clinical Lead will receive an excellent salary up to £120,000 per annum.
