Set within extensive countryside grounds, this nursery embraces a Forest School-inspired approach, encouraging children to explore, discover and learn through nature and outdoor play. The Role: As Nursery Room Leader, youll play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive. This is a hands-on position, combining daily childcare responsibilities with the opportunity to lead activities, support colleagues and contribute to the nurserys outdoor learning approach. Your responsibilities will include: ? Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). ? Encouraging outdoor exploration, creative play and Forest School-inspired learning. ? Supporting childrens emotional, social and educational development. ? Leading and supporting colleagues within the nursery room. ? Creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment. ? Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety and welfare standards are consistently maintained. ? Observing and monitoring childrens learning and developmental progress. ? Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. ? Supporting children with additional learning needs and promoting inclusive childcare.
